Use DeepSeek in n8n workflows

n8n is an open-source workflow automation tool with built-in AI nodes. Its OpenAI credential takes a custom base URL, so it works with AIFans API directly.
Setup
- Credentials → new credential of type OpenAI.
- API key your key; Base URL https://api.aifans.fan/v1. Save.
- Add an OpenAI Chat Model node (or the chat model of an AI Agent node) to your workflow and select that credential.
- Choose the model “By ID” and enter deepseek-v4.1-flash. Run the node once to test.
n8n tries to load the model list; if it stays empty, just enter the model name by ID.
